Hollywood actor Tom Hanks has written a collection of short stories. ‘Uncommon Type’, his first published fiction series, explores the human condition, the American sensibility and Hanks’ love of typewriters, with insight and humour. As part of the London Literature Festival 2017 at the Southbank Centre, Hanks will read from his book and discuss his writing. The UK exclusive is sure to be one of the festival's sell-out events.
