An exhibition looking at the contribution made by Tommy Nutter to Savile Row and London fashion. The show explores the Nutter style in terms of clothing, branding and marketing, recreating the atmosphere of Nutters – which opened in 1969 in Savile Row, financed by Cilla Black among others – and examining its impact on the traditional world of bespoke tailoring. It throws a spotlight on both the Nutter cut, a combination of traditional styling and Swinging Sixties fashion, and the shop's clientele – Nutter created the suits for the wedding of Mick and Bianca Jagger. Also examined are Nutter's later years and his legacy since his death in 1992.
