Get crafty in Hyde Park and learn the ancient craft of wool spinning. Textile Artist Brenda Gibson will school you in spinning your own yarn using a drop spindle. She'll also teach you how to create your own skein of yarn using wool from heritage sheep and tell you all about the history of sheep and The Royal Parks. No previous experience is required experience and you'll get a three-hour hands-on session with Brenda, refreshments and your very own drop spindle and supply of wool to take home.
