For nearly fifty years British collector John Scott has been gathering beautiful, valuable and unusual artefacts including textiles, furniture, pottery and sculpture. Now he's dispersing his treasures and fans of Dr Christopher Dresser, Britain's first independent industrial designer and one of the most influential figures in nineteenth-century design, will be able to view (and buy) pieces previously held in Scott's extensive collection. The exhibition takes place at The Fine Art Society, which held the first ever exhibition devoted entirely to Dresser's designs in 1972.
