Time Out says

It's not just the minds of children that require stimulation; grown-ups need to indulge their curiosity, too. With that in mind, The Royal Society has organised this adults-only event. It features science comedy in a Science Showoff, presentations about creative insect copulation (take note: techniques include super-sized sperm, dance routines and bribery) and live demonstrations involving expanding marshmallows and waterproof handkerchiefs. Scientists working on the Society's Summer Science Exhibition (Tuesday July 1 – Sunday July 6) will also be on hand to chat about their research. The event is free; entry to individual events is on a first-come, first-served basis.
