UCL Lunch Hour Lecture: The Cystal Palace Dinosaurs

Science historian professor Joe Cain (UCL Science and Technology Studies) talks about Crystal Palace’s famous ‘monsters’, the surreal life-sized sculptures of dinosaurs and other prehistoric beasts that have been on display since the park opened in 1854. The talk, in the museum’s Weston Theatre, is free, with no pre-booking required; seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
