Unbox possibility at the UK’s first chef-less restaurant

Unleash your creativity to enjoy a delicious dinner with a difference

By Time Out in association with Gousto

What is a restaurant without its chefs? Find out courtesy of recipe box mavericks Gousto, who are asking guests to turn up at their London venue to experience how gloriously easy it is to transform fresh ingredients into something awesome.

Once you’re done in the kitchen, take a seat in Gousto’s loft-style restaurant and enjoy your very own culinary creation with friends. The excitement doesn’t stop there - you’ll get inventive at a ‘design your own’ cocktail bar, mixing up a tipple that perfectly matches your flavourful feast.

By the end of the night, you’ll see that with the right ingredients, amazing things can happen.

All you pay is £2.98 (the cost of a Gousto dish) and as a way to give something back, Gousto will donate a dinner to a family in need  (in partnership with The Trussell Trust).

So, book a slot with a friend or in a group of four and get creative at the UK’s first chef-less restaurant. You’ll leave well-fed and set for more culinary kudos after learning that home-cooked meals can be really, really simple to put together – and delicious too, of course.

Visit the chef-less restaurant on September 20 at First Option Studio, Perseverance Works, in  Shoreditch, E2 8DD. Choose from a lunchtime session (12.30-15.00) and two dinner sessions (18.30-20.30 and 20.30-late), and book tickets through Time Out and Eventbrite for £2.98 per person (two-four people per booking).

Find out more at and buy tickets to the chef-less restaurant here. And remember that you can grab a hefty 50 percent off Gousto recipe boxes here. Terms and conditions apply to the chef-less restaurant and can be read here.
