Scout Park fireworks

The People’s Park is on Guy Fawkes duty again, lighting up the Tower Hamlet’s sky with a sparking display. It’s another of the rare London displays that won’t cost you a penny. Get there for 7pm to see the main show, which this year is has a ‘monstrous’ theme to mark the 200th anniversary of when the first science fiction novel ‘Frankenstein’ was first published.

Victoria park fireworks are always a spectacular event, but I was wondering how this years were going to beat 2016's prodigy/London burning psychedelic extravaganza. Much to my surprise London borough of tower hamlets did not disappoint, the display was excellent, watching Victoria park light up whilst all guests watched in ore. The music accompanying the fireworks was choreographed perfectly and the grand finale of David Bowie's Starman as an actual ' starman' descended from the alien like space ship which had been hoisted up into the sky by a crane, was a fantastic end to a brilliant evening.
