Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens will be turning back the clock this bank holiday, and there’ll be a distinctly Victorian flair in the air. The free day out will feature all the fun and games usually found back in the 19th century when the park was a hip hangout. Look out for tightrope walkers, strong men, music hall bands, stilt walkers, a vintage carousel and a hot air balloon. Sounds spiffing.
