Hugh Grant is the latest star to have been added to the line-up of these carols. The Methodist Central Hall in Westminster, opposite the Houses of Parliament, is the impressive venue that will host performances from the City of London Choir, youth chamber choir Inner Voices, Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter and activist Angelique Kidjo, Indian violinist Jyotsna Srikanth and award winning singer, Mary Jess. The event is in aid of Voluntary Service Overseas. Celebrity readers include actress Juliet Stevenson and VSO's patron HRH Princess Anne. Returned volunteers will also share stories of their work and impact in developing countries. A pre-concert drinks reception will be held from 6pm in the Library at Methodist Central Hall and an auction will take place on the night.
