Joy Ride is the feature directorial debut of Adele Lim (writer of Crazy Rich Asians) which is sure to have you laughing so hard it hurts. The story follows Audrey (Ashley Park, Emily in Paris) whose business trip to Asia goes sideways, so she enlisted the help of childhood friend Lolo (Sherry Cola, Good Trouble), college friend Kat (Stephanie Hsu, Everything Everywhere All at Once) and Deadeye, Lolo's eccentric cousin (comedian Sabrina Wu). Of course, everything that could possibly go wrong, does. And ultimately, the foursome goes on a wild journey of bonding, friendship, belonging and debauchery – leading to them finding out about themselves along the way. 

The film is written by comedians and Family Guy alumni Cherry Chevapravatdumrong and Teresa Hsiao, from a story by Lim, Chevapravatdumrong and Hsia. So you know it’s going to be packed with one-liners and painfully awkward moments. Just watch the trailer for a taste.
