Wimbledon Park Fireworks
© Peter Kindersley

The Wimbledon Park fireworks involve bonfires and two displays, the first of which (at 6.45pm) is suitable for young children, followed by a more elaborate adult display (8.30pm), again beginning with a bonfire. Expect fairground rides and food stalls to make an appearance and check the website from October to book tickets.

Astoundingly poor organisation from Merton council. Their "information" page fails to give the two most important pieces of information - starting time and cost of ticket.

Queued for over an hour and had to give up in the end due to the late hour. Poor organisation, no information or Marshall assistance. Expensive too at £9 per adult. Many people gave up and watched through the fence. Waste of time.

Pretty short and relatively mediocre display that started at 9.15 not 8.15 so a long, cold, boring wait. Poor value at £8 per adult. Most definitely could do better :(

The kids were really wanting to go to a fireworks display this year but I didn't hear of any local to me until I found this. Thank you so much. My children will be over the moon xx

Wanted to know what fireworks displays were happening around my area, Time Out makes it so easy to find exactly that - awesome!
