This independently run, strictly over-21s Highbury pub also doubles up as an intimate music venue, showcasing new talent at its Thursday night open mic sessions. And if that's not enough of a draw then there's a pub moggy for the punters to stroke while warming up by one of the two open fires during winter. Plus there's a beer garden for the warmer months. The drinks menu features a large gin and whisky selection as well as local and world craft beers. If you get peckish you can order in pizza from San Daniele, an Italian eatery on Blackstock Road.
