Inclusive grassroots women’s football teams the Deptford Ravens, Lush Lyfe FC and the excellently-named Bend it Like Peckham have come together to host World Cup screenings across two south London locations this month. Weekend games are being screened at Nunhead’s lovely community-owned boozer the Ivy House where you’ll also find games, kid-friendly activities and themed bevs (Bloody Mary Earps anyone?) Weekday games are being screened in the cafe at Deptford community theatre the Albany, which is offering up coffee, breakfast baps and WiFi – everything you could possibly need to pretend to concentrate on work.
