Time Out says

This monthly drawing class hops between London Zoo and Whipsnade Zoo, giving participants the chance to brush up on drawing techniques, take part in a range of fun sketching activities and get up close to some truly beautiful creatures. Led by artist and educator Tim Pond, the varied sessions could focus on anything from creating realistic looking fur, capturing the movement of the zoo's slinky cats or perfecting the plumes of exotic birds. Beginners can benefit from one to one help while sketching, and those with more experience can use the time to improve on their observational drawing skills. Classes are aimed at students (6th form plus) and adults, are suitable for all levels and a folding stool, A3 loose paper and an A3 drawing board are all provided. Participants are asked to bring their chosen media, a sketchbook if they wish to use one, and wear suitable clothing as classes mainly take place outside. The day will finish with an informal meeting in the cafe where participants can share the work they've created and feedback to the group. Tickets should be booked in advance
