Gilbert & George

After first becoming 'living sculptures' in 1970, Gilbert & George began sending their art by post and collaging postcards. Four decades and 1,004 postcard pieces later G&G have amassed 155 new works for 'The Urethra Postcard Art'. All have been created using the same design format, from 13 picture postcards, phone box cards or flyers, which the famous art duo (and our New Year cover designers) have been collecting over the past 12 years.
