[title]Living a more sustainable life means making eco-friendly choices and trying your best to live by the three Rs – reduce, reuse and recycle – and using a bicycle to get around is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint.
Thanks to Nespresso and the Swedish bicycle company Vélopsophy’s latest creation, the RE:CYCLE, conscious-living coffee lovers can also tick the ‘recycle’ box, too. This summer the pair collaborated to create 1,000 classic ‘Comfort’ bikes, with 40 percent of the frames made with recycled aluminium coffee capsules (yep, when you recycle those capsules they continue their life to cool things like this – talk about taking recycling up a gear....). The rides are also finished in bright purple – a nod to Nespresso’s popular Arpeggio coffee – and with a capsule-shaped bell and cup-holder basket.
And while the limited edition bikes are currently available to buy for £1,189, ahead of Recycling Week we’re giving one lucky reader the chance to win one for themselves.
