What an uneventful year… is what we wish we could say about some alternate reality version of 2025. But this year left an indelible impact in L.A., as Angelenos continue to grapple with the reality of two remarkably destructive wildfires as well as months of ICE raids. It seems almost trivial, with all of that in mind, to try and pivot to talking about what was still “fun” this year—but maybe in a year as challenging as this one, those fleeting moments of joy mattered more than ever.
