What happens when L.A.'s oldest tiki bar takes over Chinatown's best cocktail den? A night of fun, dancing and tropical vibes, and it's coming our way because Tonga Hut is returning to General Lee's on Tuesday.
Tonga Hut's Marie King will be shaking up a tiki menu starting at 7pm, and there'll be live music from DJ outfit Calypsorama to pair with those wild drinks.
And because tiki cocktails tend to be strong, you'll need something to pad your stomach: Fortunately one of the city's hottest food pop-ups will be on hand from 6pm, on. Just be warned: Bang Bang Noodles already draws long lines in Highland Park, so get there on the early end to make sure you secure those hand-pulled Chinese biang biang mian noodles.
