So you're tired of standing in the brunch line at Sqirl, waiting 45 minutes for a table at Gjelina and wondering why everyone is taking so long to finish their French toast at EAT. Real problems, guys. Thankfully, there are a couple new brunches—boozy or otherwise—in town, and their newbie status likely means shorter wait times. Check out these restaurants where you can now score an eggs Benedict, some quality pancakes and a much-needed mimosa.

1. Sawyer (Silver Lake): Quickly becoming one of Silver Lake's more scene-y spots for dinner and drinks, Sawyer lightens it up a little with a new brunch menu, drawing people in for sunny side hash, poached eggs 'n grits and a fantastic Maine lobster roll. To drink, there are Bloody Marys, mimosas, micheladas and a few more craft cocktails. Sat & Sun 10am

2. Salazar (Frogtown): The new taco eatery with a beautiful outdoor courtyard and colorful cocktails recently went into brunch mode, offering breakfast tacos with cactus and egg, a chorizo Benedict, a flat iron "straus" and eggs and a cassoulet with Peruvian beans, chilli morita, Argentinian sausage and more. Wash it down with a Mexican soda or Juice Served Here pressed juice. Sat & Sun 10am

3. by CHLOE (Silver Lake): Brunch in a grocery store? Sure, why not. by Chloe is a vegan restaurant inside Silver Lake's new 365 by Whole Foods grocery store. Last weekend they launched brunch for the first time, offering healthy dishes like the Early Bird (scrambled organic tofu, spinach, maple sausage and market greens), quinoa hash brown, the famed Mom's cinnamon roll and a smoothie bowl, made with granola, banana, apple, blueberries, goji berries, chia seeds, coconut and raw almond butter. Sat & Sun 10am-4pm

4. Belle's Bagels (Highland Park): Ok, so this isn't technically brunch, but we're incredibly excited about the second coming of this fantastic bagel shop. Belle's Bagels is back in business after a lengthy hiatus with a new takeaway window, this time at the Hi Hat in Highland Park. Rolled by hand, the goods are made fresh daily, and include traditional picks such as sesame, plain, poppy and everything, along with delicious bagel sandwiches like the Loxsmith: lox, salmon skin, dill and beet cream cheese. Thu & Fri 7am-3pm; Sat & Sun 8am-3pm
