This week is all about eating and drinking well on a budget. Not only is DineLA Summer Restaurant Week happening (check out our favorite deals here), but there's a brand new crop of happy hours at your disposal (hooray for discounted drinks!). From an aperitivo-style happy hour in Culver City to Pokémon Go specials in Silver Lake, we've got your weekday drinking all mapped out.
The Cannibal (Culver City): This might just be one of the best happy hours to pop up recently. Guests who dine at the bar and on the front patio can take advantage of a communal, self-serve charcuterie spread that includes pâté, bread, salumi, pork rinds and more. Wash it down with $5 old-fashioneds on draft, $20 bottles of rosé and $3 craft canned beers. Tue-Sun 5:30-6:30pm
El Chavo (Silver Lake): The Pop-Up at El Chavo has been steadily expanding their happy hour deals, this time with a fantastic Taco Tuesday special. Dine on two for $5 carnitas, pollo or carne tacos, along with $6 cocktails including a TNT (tequila shot and Tecate), palomas and margaritas. Tue 5pm-Midnight
La Bohème (West Hollywood): With the launch of their new food menu, La Bohème is also offering a fantastic daily happy hour available at the bar, in the lounge or on their patio. Take advantage of $1 oysters, $3 small bites (think: baked parmigiano fries, flatbreads, truffle mushroom arancini and more), $5 beers, $6 well drinks, $7 sangria/martinis/margaritas and $8 prosecco. Daily 5pm-close
El Cid (Silver Lake): Well, it was bound to happen sometime. For those of you who are currently obsessed with Pokémon Go, El Cid's Pokémon Happy Hour is your jam. Battle it out over $5 margaritas, $5 beer and shots, $5 tapas specials and a $5 daily drink special, all while hanging out at this Pokémon Go Gym. Mon-Fri 4-6pm
