If the idea of spending the day after Thanksgiving at a mall or big-box store makes you want to stay in bed all day, we feel you. But you should definitely get out of bed, because a) leftovers and b) Record Store Day.

Yep, the same Record Store Day that bolsters our vinyl collection every April is rolling out a slew of exclusive, small run/regional and first look releases on November 28. Pretty much the exact opposite of the "cheap, mass-produced frenzy" that is Black Friday, RSD wants "to create pieces of art in the form of limited special editions, often numbered, from a diverse list of beloved artists" and to celebrate both those records and the special, indie stores who carry them. Amen!

Head to the Record Store Day website for the full list of releases and a list of participating stores (including Time Out favorites Origami Vinyl, Permanent Records and Vacation Vinyl, to name just a few). And if you're not sure where to start, here are a few choice picks we definitely wouldn't mind waiting in line for.

Death Grips, Government Plates - 12" vinyl, 900 run small release

The Kinks, Muswell Hillbillies - 2 x 12" vinyl, 3000 run Black Friday first release

Aaliyah, Age Ain't Nothing But A Number - 2 x 12" colored vinyl, 3500 run Black Friday exclusive release

Jenny Lewis, Pax-Am Sessions - 7" colored vinyl, 6000 run Black Friday exclusive release

Roy Orbison, At The Rock House - 12" colored vinyl, 3000 Black Friday exclusive release
