Here's the lineup for Twilight Concerts' free 2016 series

Movie screenings, live concerts, comedy and more happen here at the Santa Monica Pier.

A few years back, Santa Monica's beloved Twilight Concerts series was bringing in such a loyal following that the cautious city decided to rein in the event's scope. But that hasn't stopped the free summer concert series from putting together stellar lineups each season.

Twilight Concerts' 2016 lineup includes performances from Mayer Hawthorne, BØRNS, Psychedelic Furs, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and more. The free Thursday night shows take place on the Santa Monica Pier every week at 7pm. Best of all, searching for affordably-priced parking at the pier is a thing of the past thanks to the addition of the Expo Line.

The announcement for the series (now sponsored by Snapchat) coincided with the release of the KCRW Summer Nights schedule. That event series—also free—includes the likes of DJ sets in the Chinatown Central Plaza, the Hammer Museum's Made in LA Music series and the Annenberg Space for Photography's to-be-announced and sure to be amazing series (last year's included TV On the Radio, De La Soul and Cold War Kids). In addition, Summer Nights is expanding beyond LA County with events at the Anaheim Packing District and Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara.

Hi Michael, the band playing with Unknown Mortal Orchestra is called Steady Holiday, rather than Steady. Please edit if possible!
