After 14 years in a place, you start to build up some clutter. Particularly if you’re a 14-year running television show producing five episodes every week like Jimmy Kimmel Live. They’ve decided to clean out the closets with their first-ever yard sale this weekend, donating the proceeds to charity.

Even if you’ve never glanced around your living room and thought it would be better if it were furnished more like a late-night talk show set, there will be wardrobe, props and assorted knick-knacks that have been used on the show over the last decade and a half. Maybe it’s time to check if you and Jimmy Kimmel happen to have the same measurements so you can snag a hand-me-down suit. (You could even wear it to a future taping of his show.)

The sale is raising money for My Friend’s Place, an organization that has been serving homeless youth in Hollywood since 1988. The professional social service agency offers a variety of services to nearly 1,500 vulnerable young people every year.

If you can’t make it out on Saturday, an online eBay for Charity auction has been launched featuring a sampling of products, from a snowblower attachment inspired by Kim Kardashian’s famous Paper magazine cover to a collection of neon signs made for a week of SXSW shows in Austin and a custom-made piñata of Jimmy himself.

The yard sale is the conclusion of ABC and Disney’s Summer of Service campaign. The company sponsored 340 grants of $500 each to kids and teens working on projects to make positive changes in their communities.

The Jimmy Kimmel Live yard sale takes place Saturday, Oct 1, from 8am to 4pm at 6901 Hawthorne Ave.
