It's National Coffee Day! Before you head to one of LA's killer coffee shops and fork over $4 for a soy latte, you might want to consider changing your route. These coffee shops (and one grocery store) are pouring out the good stuff for free—and in some cases, even throwing in a donut. Score!

Krispy Kreme: Free small cup of coffee and a free original glazed donut. You can also order a small latte or mocha for $1.

Dunkin' Donuts: Free medium hot or iced dark roast coffee. How can you hate on this East Coast transplant when they're giving away free java?

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf: Half off all sizes of iced coffee, flavored iced coffee and Iced Americano beverages.

Peet's Coffee & Tea: Buy any baked good, oatmeal or fresh food item and you'll score a free small cup of Peet's Major Dickason Blend.

Whole Foods: 12-ounce cups of coffee for 25 cents. This has actually been going on all month, but today's an even better occasion to stop by the grocery store.

In the air today? Jet Blue is getting in on National Coffee Day by offering espresso brews from the Brooklyn Roasting Company for their Mint customers. And if you're just looking for some quality coffee shops, check out our guide to the best coffee shops in LA.
