LAX's luxurious new private terminal for VIP travelers to open this month

It was only a matter of time before LAX took on the same "special access" mentality that comes standard at Hollywood clubs or exclusive events around town. If you're looking to travel like a high-profile business mogul or A-list celebrity, LAX's exclusive new private terminal can make your VIP dreams come true—for a pretty penny, of course.

Come May 15, premium first class and business travelers will be able to avoid the traffic surrounding main terminals, skip dreaded check-in lines and reduce the overall stress and mayhem that comes with traveling through LAX, thanks to a luxurious new private terminal and service. High-profile commuters can head to The Private Suite, a glimmering new VIP terminal that's more luxurious and high-class than any airline lounge you've ever seen or experienced.

The swanky new private compound is located in a secluded area near the main runways and—most importantly—far from the hectic and overcrowded main terminals. Upon arrival, guests will be led through a gated parking area and valet service (think of this as a little amuse-bouche before the main event), but what follows is what makes it all worth it.

Travelers will have special access to private check-in and TSA screening, along with other services such as customs and immigration processes. Just think of all the avoided lines and time saved. In addition, each guest is assigned a team of eight people—yep, eight—who will assist with everything from escorting you through security screenings to assisting with special requests like spa services.

Once guests have checked in, they can choose to wait for their flights in a luxurious shared suite, which accommodates up to 10 people, or a private suite for an additional cost. Expect over-the-top amenities like a fully stocked pantry, traveling must-haves like headphones and chargers, and a place to lay back and relax while watching the planes takeoff just outside. Oh, and if you’re traveling with small children, you can choose the private suite that offers a family room complete with toys to keep them entertained.

When you're ready to depart, a BMW 7 series sedan will be ready to escort you from the terminal to the plane or vice versa. (If you're ever worried about paparazzi, this is your solution.)

Now let’s get down to the prices. For new members, pricing begins at $2,700 per party of four for domestic flights and $3,000 for international flights. That's on top of the annual membership fee of $7,500. And if you’re looking to test the waters and want to opt for a one-time-only trial, prices begin at $3,500 per party of four.

Whether you're looking to cut the lines and get prime security or enjoy a tranquil repose before hopping on your flight, LAX's new Private Suite has you covered—if you can cover it.
