If you've ever dreamt of being photobombed by the Space Shuttle Endeavour, drinking space-themed cocktails and mingling with astronauts (and yes, Commander Tuvok from Star Trek: Voyager) all the while being swarmed by a bunch of Star Wars characters, you have to be at Yuri's Night Los Angeles at the California Science Center this Sunday from 8-11pm.

The third annual event—named in honor of the first human in space, cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin—will let you channel your inner science nerd while celebrating like you're at some sort of combination of Comic-Con and a rave. Costumes are strongly encouraged, as well as drinking, dancing and the use of glow sticks to the beat of space-themed tracks. For those who truly love space, scientists from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory will speak about the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission—which led to the most complete topographical map of the Earth and is applied whenever you open your phone to navigate the horrific LA traffic.

Ticket sales end Saturday at 10am, but you should buy yours now (as they've sold out in the previous two years). Also, this could be the last year the party is held underneath the shuttle, which is set to move to a new display space in the near future.

Love Star Wars? Here's where you can find Star Wars in LA.
