Last night, the best and brightest of L.A.'s bar scene convened atop the U.S. Bank Building at OUE Skypace, with a sweeping view of the city below, to celebrate the second annual Time Out Los Angeles Bar Awards. Reps from the 40 nominated Bar Awards finalists joined fellow industry pros and Time Out staffers to find out which barrooms and bar teams would take home one of ten coveted awards, each chosen by a panel of industry-expert judges.
This year's illustrious class of winners includes a range of stellar spots, from Downtown newcomer Bar Clacson (Best New Bar) to innovative master the Walker Inn (this year's winner for Most Creative Drink List, and last year's Best New Bar Winner), plus a slew of well-respected favorites like the classic Musso & Frank Grill (winner of the L.A. Icon award) and the close-knit team behind Big Bar (Best Bar Family winners for the second year in a row!).
During the celebrations, party-goers enjoyed a range of cocktails by William Grant & Sons, featuring Reyka Vodka and Hendrick's Gin, plus Peroni, Segura Viudas cava and Topo Chico water. Delicious bites were passed by roomforty, and guests took turns checking out the view, watching bar ambassadors Mark Stoddard and Trevor Schneider make magic behind the bar, and riding the Skyslide down to the Skyspace observation deck overlooking the twinkling lights of the city.
