Wanderlust Hollywood is open and we feel pretty zen about it

Wanderlust, a brand known for its well-being lifestyle fests, has opened a brand-new, beautiful three-story wellness studio in Hollywood. We got a sneak peek last night during the venue's soft opening, which included sample bites from chef Seamus Mullen, poems from Jacqueline Suskin's Poem Store, tarot card readings and body painting.

The space packs a lot in—on the first floor there's a cafe serving breakfast, lunch and dinner; an outdoor space for lounging or working and a small shop selling workout wear, "mindful" jewelry (don't you want your bracelets to promote relaxation and healing?) and all-natural bath and body products. Also on the ground level is an immense yoga room that can supposedly fit 200 mats (!), complete with plush seating areas and a stage for guest musicians, DJs and speakers.

Venture upstairs for a mezzanine-level seating area, a small yoga/meditation room and a "library" for members only—we're pretty sure the books in there hold the secrets to a happy, healthy (and wealthy) life. The third story has another, larger yoga room and clean, sparse bathrooms, as well as access to the rooftop terrace. All in all, the space is quite the spread.

To celebrate its opening, the studio is hosting yoga classes throughout the weekend with special ticketed events at night. On Friday, Shiva Rea teaches the continuous flow of vinyasa yoga, followed by a DJ set from MC Yogi and DJ Drez. Seane Corn instructs a physical-meets-metaphysical class on Saturday night, followed by a musical performance by Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation. Tickets are still available, as are regular class passes, so grab 'em before the buzz gets out—for a place so zen, it'll probably get (and stay) packed.
