Time Out says

Let’s be honest: Music festivals aren’t really an ideal way to see your favorite band. You wait hours to see them for what’ll probably be a protracted surrounded by people only half interested.

So maybe Re:SET is onto something: The touring series (from Goldenvoice parent AEG Presents) is staging a very small lineup of acts across three nights, available either individually or as a three-day ticket. Here in L.A.—or rather Pasadena, at Brookside at the Rose Bowl—that means you can see Steve Lacy, Boygenius and LCD Soundsystem on separate nights, with a small-but-stellar list of acts supporting them.

On Friday, June 2, you can see Steve Lacy, James Blake, Toro y Moi and Fousheé. On Saturday, June 3, the lineup includes Boygenius (that’s Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus), Clairo, Dijon and Bartees Strange. And on Sunday, June 4, you’ll find LCD Soundsystem, Jamie xx, Idles and Big Freedia—some some more DFA artists.

Tickets start at $99.50 for an individual show ($275 for VIP), while a three-day pass starts at $250 (VIP $650). Presale begins Tuesday, February 7 at 10am.
