Fans of Tim Burton will not want to miss this one: Warner Bros. and Fever have teamed up to launch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice: The Afterlife Experience, a new immersive activation set to debut on August 23 in celebration of the September release of the much-anticipated sequel to the iconic 1988 horror comedy.

The 70-minute experience, which is billed as appropriate for all ages, will take over suite 201 of Ovation Hollywood at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard. Tickets start at $25 and will go on sale tomorrow morning, July 3 at 10am, but you can already join the waitlist right here.

What to expect? Basically, a massive space (11,000 square feet!) filled with recreated sets, photo ops and live entertainment, plus themed food and beverage offerings sold at the on-site, perfectly named Afterlife Diner.

According to an official press release, guests will be asked to “grab an exclusive passport and take a seat in the Waiting Room next to a pair of ghosts” before getting on the cover of the Handbook for the Recently Deceased and coming face to face with a sandworm. Fun stuff indeed!

Before heading back home, you’ll probably want to snag some of the limited-edition merch and collectible items being sold on-site, perhaps as something to wear when Beetlejuice Beetlejuice drops in theaters on September 6. (FYI, even non-ticketed guests will have access to the souvenir shop.)

Although we can confidently say that we’ve had just about enough of immersive experiences, there’s just something about Beetlejuice (and, of course, the nostalgia) that lends it to this sort of treatment, especially in a city as devoted to classic film productions as L.A. is.

That is all to say: see you at the Afterlife Diner.
