With an all-vinyl DJ lineup on the turntables.

Crate diggers, mark your calendars! VinylCon! returns to the California Market Center on August 22 and 23 for a two-day celebration of record collecting, with more than 100 dealers on site, DJs spinning entirely from vinyl and a bigger lineup of international sellers than the event's previous L.A. editions.

The fair's all-vinyl DJ lineup, curated by DJ and collector Skeme Richards, includes legendary hip-hop producer Easy Mo Bee and People Under the Stairs co-founder Thes One, alongside a stacked roster of L.A. DJs and collectors including Richards, Mike Wallace, Ally O'Neil, Hector Waluyo, Aaron Paar, Randy Ellis, FROZ1, Dan Ubick, AM Sounds, McNasty, EZDUZIT and Tripledouble.
Beyond the records, VinylCon! will feature booths from labels including Jazz is Dead, Stones Throw, Mr. Bongo, In Sheep's Clothing, Daptone Records and Penrose Records, plus partnerships with Pioneer DJ by AlphaTheta, APM Music, Audio Media Group and Tone Optic. KCRW is the event's official radio partner.
When you need a break from flipping through albums that cost more than your electric bill, the bar will be handled by Only the Wild Ones, the analog-focused listening bar with locations in Venice and New York, serving natural wines and small-batch spirits. Food and caffeine are in the hands of DTLA Ramen and Urli Bird.
And if the last L.A. edition is any indication, expect plenty of people. The spring event drew more than 4,000 attendees, and, this time around, VinylCon! says it expects an even larger dealer presence, including multiple sellers traveling from the U.K., with a deeper selection spanning genres, eras and rarities.
VinylCon! was founded by Kobi Waldfogel as a record fair designed to work for both serious collectors and people who want to rediscover the joy of owning music you can actually hold. After establishing editions in cities including Atlanta, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Denver—and expanding to Brooklyn—the event is returning to spin L.A. vinylheads right round, baby, right round.
VinylCon! takes place Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23 at the California Market Center, 110 E. 9th St. Tickets are on sale now. For more information and to buy tickets, click here.
