Momofuku's David Chang has claimed yet another corner of the city’s culinary scene—this time with Super Peach, a bright, bold and wildly fun new restaurant now open at Westfield Century City. The vibrant spot is the latest high-profile eatery to land in the mall, sparking plenty of conversation about what location really means in the world of dining.
Super Peach is Chang's team's take on “American classics, reimagined.” It blends Korean, Californian and straight-up American comfort food with Momofuku’s signature swagger. The all-day menu jumps from Korean fried chicken wings (sweet and spicy or honey garlic) to sesame-marinated cucumbers, citrus-soy soft tofu and fried shrimp Matsuhisa-style with pickled onion and lemon mayo.
The kimbap selections will cure your carb cravings with options that include Bluefin tuna (regular or “actually spicy”), fried chicken with pickled chiles and wagyu beef with crispy shallots and “super sauce.”
Mains bring a dinner-party energy: lobster noodles with ginger and lemon, roasted half chicken with fingerlings, slow-cooked baby back ribs and a lineup of steaks—including an eye-popping 32-ounce bone-in ribeye.
Burnt cheesecake with market fruit, salted caramel pudding with coconut and a hefty chocolate cake with whipped crème fraiche are the finishers.
Alongside beer, wine and classic cocktails, the drink list includes playful offerings like the Mean Green Margarita (tequila, Ancho Reyes Verde, jackfruit, lime) or the Red Miso Michelada for a savory kick. For something softer, there’s a Super Lychee Plus with tequila, nigori sake and jasmine.
The space, designed by the team behind Momofuku Noodle Bar, is pure L.A. sunshine. Floor-to-ceiling green tiles, an open kitchen wrapped in electric orange and a kinetic flap board (in a nod to Momofuku’s New York roots) stand out in the midst of Century City’s high-shine crowd. A covered patio under a green metal canopy is perfect for people-watching and happy-hour lounging.
Super Peach is now open daily for lunch and dinner with a weekday social hour from 3–6pm.
