This November, too much of something actually isn’t bad enough—as long as that something is brunch.
Coming in hot on the tails of other touring, ticketed affairs like Disney-inspired brunch sing-a-longs, there’s yet another event headed to L.A. that’ll blend your nostalgia with eggs and mimosas, but this time it’s all about England’s ’90s fab five. If you still wannabe a member of the Spice Girls, this fall you’ll be able to grab a few butterfly clips, toss on your favorite minidress and show off your best moves—or at least the best moves you can manage in a pair of platform sneakers—and show up to a very costume-filled brunch devoted to Ginger, Baby, Scary, Sporty and Posh. And you probably won’t even need to hijack a double-decker tourbus to get there.
Details are still forthcoming on dates and the location for the new Spice Up Your Brunch event, but we do know that each ticket will include a brunch buffet and juice—and if you really, really want to party like it’s 1996 on a world tour, there are boozy upgrades, as well. It's the first iteration of this particular brunch soirée, which, like the girls, is going on tour: other stops include New York, Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto.
Slated activities include Spice Girls karaoke, if you’re looking 2 become 1 with their music, plus a costume contest that’ll award bonus points for showing up dressed as the full girl-group lineup (which, yes, means wrangling an elusive Posh Spice).
