From watch parties to jousting competitions, 33 Taps is the place to be for the new era in Westeros.

Who's ready to return to Westeros? Spring is coming and HBO is teaming up with DTLA's 33 Taps to usher in a new era in the Game of Thrones saga with a takeover like no other.
From January 17 to 30, 33 Taps is turning into a medieval playground to celebrate HBO’s upcoming Game of Thrones prequel, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. The downtown sports bar will be home to a limited-time immersive takeover, complete with armor, artwork, specialty drinks and official watch parties. It’s also the only bar in LA hosting the experience, so make your plans accordingly.
The bar itself will be transformed, with armor installations and series-inspired décor woven into the familiar 33 Taps setup. There will be custom specialty mugs, photo ops and even a jousting competition in the Arcade Room (no prior knight training required).
The bar is also leaning into the theme with two limited-edition cocktails. The Aerion Targaryen: Reign of Fire mixes tequila, grapefruit, lime and salt with a Tajín or sugar rim for a little bite. The Baratheon Punch is a sturdy, classic offering with whiskey, agave, lemon and water. The intensity of the new series will surely require a strong drink.
The highlights of the takeover happen on Sunday, January 18 and Sunday, January 25, when 33 Taps hosts official HBO watch parties. Screenings start at 7 pm (or right after the football game wraps). RSVP is encouraged for the January 18 premiere to ensure you've got a good view of the action.
If you haven't checked it out yet, 33 Taps is a neighborhood MVP with 33 beers on tap, a full bar, big screens and a menu with all the sports bar favorites and more, from wings and burgers to vegan bites and brunch. It’s the kind of place where sports fans, casual drinkers and anyone who "doesn’t like sports" can all come together. And for the next two weeks, "Game of Thrones" fans (and anyone who wants to get their knight on) have a seat at the table too, as a new chapter unfolds in Westeros.
