Artist Cj Hendry’s faux-floral pop-ups in New York regularly attract blocks-long lines and have proved so popular that you can now shop her soft, sculptural blooms year-round at a physical shop.

But don’t worry about booking a cross-country flight to secure those covetable blooms, at least not this month: Cj Hendry’s Flower Shop is embarking on a 14-city tour, including a stop here in L.A. You’ll find the plush flowers at 6 Rose Avenue in Venice (barely a block from the boardwalk) daily from 10am to 6pm from November 8 to 21.

You can expect multiple varieties of fabric flowers available; a release for the pop-up specifically teases ones “designed with Venice in mind.” Each flower costs $10, though if you’re interested in assembling an entire bouquet, the tenth is free.

Hendry’s colorful, playful pieces are known for attracting pretty thick crowds, so keep that in mind before you venture toward the beach. The flowers are available on a first-come, first-served basis with no ticket or RSVP required, and there’s no need to rush the shop during the first day of the run: New inventory will be available throughout the duration of the Flower Shop pop-up.

To be clear, this is not one of Hendry’s Flower Markets, which offer free flowers in a sprawling setting. Instead, Flower Shop is more of a retail approach.

“Flower Market began as an effort to unite communities around a universally shared joy: flowers,” said Hendry in a statement. “By expanding into Flower Shop, the goal was to share that experience globally, allowing people across various cities to engage with and gather these tactile creations. Each locale possesses a distinct
atmosphere, and I am thrilled that every temporary installation will feature unique floral variations,
distinctive surprises, and a tailored narrative.”
