Across the street from Culver City’s Platform mall, this lowkey poolside spot at the Shay Hotel offers breezy cocktails and generally decent—we wouldn't exactly say great—California-inspired fare. Cocktails run on the lighter side in terms of booze content, and the food isn't the best in town, but this quieter rooftop restaurant and bar still lets you watch killer sunsets without the tryhard clientele further west in Santa Monica and Venice or the crowds that flock every weekend to Downtown L.A.
