Time Out says

Easily the most fun dining spot along WeHo’s La Cienega strip, E.P. re-opened in May 2021 as an entirely reimagined restaurant after over a year hiatus. New head chef Nicholas Russo (formerly of Mei Lin’s Nightshade, Michael Voltaggio’s Ink and Michelin-starred Bouley in NYC) has introduced menus that combine California produce and European tradition with nods to culinary director Monty Koludrovic’s native Australia. Brunch is a delight with cheesy eggs, breakfast burritos with crispy bacon and tater tots, or poached Maine lobster and little gem lettuce salad. Finish the day or night upstairs at bar L.P., set against rooftop views of the Hollywood Hills. L.P. adds even more fun to the mix with tropical cocktails, outdoor movie screenings and a separate late-night munchie menu.

What’s on

Melrose Rooftop Theatre

  • Outdoor

West Hollywood’s ultra-chic restaurant and rooftop bar, E.P. & L.P., is serving much more than handcrafted cocktails and modern American bites. The spot also hosts Melrose Rooftop Theatre, an outdoor screening series that runs much of the year on the rooftop space attached to its open-air bar, L.P. Its all-VIP seating setup means everyone gets their own bean bag to watch a mix of cult classics and newly released films, with the audio piped in to provided sets of wireless headphones. Opt for the dinner-and-a-movie package and you’ll get a pre-show starter, main and dessert—or you can skip it and just opt for a cocktail during the movie.
