Time Out says

Perhaps the most lauded opening of 2017 so far has been Kismet, a new Turkish/Mediterranean option on the Hollywood stretch of Los Feliz. Brought to you by Sara Kramer and Sarah Hymanson (who are also behind Grand Central Market’s falafel haven Madcapra), with pastries by Sqirl’s Meadow Ramse. It's packed to the gills with excellent shareables and snacks, like broccoli toast, shakshuka, and insane flakey bread &anddips. The place is a winner, with a menu impossible to miss on. It’s popular, so expect a wait.

This and Baroo are my two favorite restaurants in LA for delicious and inventive food.  While it's pricey (mainly because of the mandatory 20% tip surcharge, which can seem a little much considering it's the kind of place where you pour your own water), the food is 100% worth it.  Go for lunch and make sure you get the savory flaky flatbread with labneh and tomato.  The kuku is out of this world.  The broccoli toast a true feast for the senses (and very large). If you want to go all out, get a bunch of different dishes and share.  Some are smaller than others (kuku and flatbread was too little for two people for lunch, but broccoli toast and flatbread was plenty for two people at lunch), so you really just have to try everything to get your ordering down to a science.  I'd go back every day if I could to do so.  At dinner, cheesy potatoes are yummy, and fried cauliflower is a standout.

Small place, so make reservations for dinner if possible.  During lunch, it fills up, but it's not restrictive.  If you're dining solo, they have a small "bar" area which can be useful.  Parking in the area can be terrible, especially when Covell next door illegally takes up parking spaces for its valet, but if you're ok with walking, you'll be fine.
