The Westside's flour queen Zoe Nathan has created a culinary haven with Milo + Olive—an ode to all things wood-baked. Housemade breads include multi-grain baguette, whole-wheat potato bread, ciabatta and bagels, and breakfast is a delight, especially when you're having a skillet of creamy polenta and poached eggs at the bar. Pasta and pizza options abound for lunch and dinner, which you can pair with Milo + Olive's robust selection of wine and beer.

The must have item at Milo and Olive is their popular Wood Fired Garlic Knot, straight out of the wood fired oven.

These magical knots are a creation by Restaurateur and Pastry Chef Zoe Nathan.


If you want to take one to go, there will be a 20 minute wait since each knot is made to order. The knot comes in a large cup with string holding top of knot in place, drenched in garlic oil. You will almost wanted to eat that too!


Basically it's an avalanche of roasted garlic (much milder than raw), herbs and of course, steam. It’s hard to believe that dough, garlic, extra virgin olive oil and sea salt can turn into this magical concoction. It surpassed all my expectations.


At the bottom of the cup after finishing the garlic knot, there was plenty of garlic infused oil to spare. It's a garlic lover's dream.


What a spiffy and exciting space to house such great food and beverages. From casual meeting to some sit down lovely dining. Milo+ Olive is a great new star in the pantheon!
