Though Porridge + Puffs will no longer be open as a restaurant, Minh Phan plans to use the space to host community events and cooking classes.
After a three-year closure, Minh Phan briefly reopened critically acclaimed porridge concept in Historic Filipinotown, albeit with extremely limited hours (Fri–Sun 10am–2pm). The chef-driven rice porridge and puffs at this bare-bones spot along Beverly Boulevard were nourishing and delicious while they lasted.
