Time Out says

The East Coast meets the West Coast this weekend for a brunch of pancake proportions: One of NYC's best brunch spotsSunday in Brooklyn—is popping up in one of Venice's most popular restaurants, and it's bringing its signature dish to the beachy scene.

This Sunday, you can find the Williamsburg darling at the Rose, where the Sunday in Brooklyn team will be serving its cult-classic pancakes (featuring hazelnut maple praline and brown butter), along with cod pastrami with horseradish sour cream, buckwheat crackers and pickles; fried eggs with chickpea crepe, feta, charred onion and pepper relish; breakfast sandwiches; brunchy cocktails; and pastries like sticky buns and strawberry handpies.

It's all in preview of the Brooklyn spot's forthcoming sibling restaurant, Sibling Rival, a modern diner due to open in DTLA's Hoxton hotel this October.

There's no need to make a reservation, because this pop-up party (8am-3pm) is walk-ins only—maybe get there extra early, though, because when you combine the popularity of the Rose on a Sunday with a preview of one of L.A.'s cutest new restaurants, well, let's just say you might have some competition landing a table.
