Sunday is the big game, and while most think of chicken wings and nachos as the perfect Super Bowl food, Smorgasburg's got an all-vegan lineup that's worthy of its own fanfare.
Head to the weekly food fest for its 3rd annual Super Vegan Sunday, which involves plenty of plant-based dishes popping up all around the fair in addition to the fest's usual omnivorous offerings.
This year's vegan options include stellar returns from the like of Cena Vega, which uses generational family recipes to turn out our favorite vegan Mexican food in town; the deliciously creamy vegan mac and cheese of Avocadomama; and fun, filling plant-based sushi from Plantae Bar, among other stalls with a rainbow of vegan plates.
There'll also be vegan options from new Smorgasburg vendors, including fresh hand-pulled noodles from Chinese Laundry and a vegan fried "chicken" from Dante's Fried Chicken.
Whether you're fueling up for the game or simply rooting for your favorite vegan restaurants in town, good sportsmanship has never been more delicious.
