Michael Cimarusti may have just won the James Beard Award in the Best Chef: West category, but we've known about Cimarusti's kitchen prowess for a long time—especially when it comes to cooking seafood. The lauded chef's best known for his tasting-menu restaurant, Providence, but he recently launched a monthly dinner series—Thursdays with Michael—where you can feast on a seafood-focused prix-fixe meal for a fraction of the cost.
Simply head to his counter-seat restaurant within Eataly, Il Pesce Cucina, where you'll get a $65 multicourse meal that skews rustic, traditional Italian, with dishes like stone crab in egg crespelle with lemon, fennel and red pepper, and spaghetti with mussels, local squid, garlic breadcrumbs and olive oil. You can also order off the regular Il Pesce menu, and we're telling you now: You're going to want that fritto misto.
