Emily Current and Meritt Elliott’s luxe-casual brand was already beloved by a laundry list of celebrities, including Mandy Moore and Jessica Alba, by the time they opened their La Cienega Design Quarter boutique. But creating a space to perfectly represent the masculine-meets-feminine, vintage-inspired aesthetic was an especially creative undertaking; the store itself features denim-hued walls (courtesy of L.A.’s own Portola paint) and brass fixtures. In addition to The Great’s ready-to-wear and children’s line, stock includes embroidered vintage handkerchiefs, cool coffee table books and indie beauty products to create a truly charming shopping experience.
