Time Out says

Commemorate Veterans Day by meeting American soldiers from different wars as portrayed by living historians. On Friday, interact with the Revolutionary War's 1st Rhode Island Regiment, which was comprised of many troops of African and First Nation heritage who fought for independence. Saturday leaps forward in time to the Civil War, when the 6th Regiment of Infantry, United States Colored Troops, were fighting for the Union forces following the Emancipation Proclamation. Then, on Sunday, learn about the trenches of World War I with the 369th Regiment U.S. Infantry, also known as the Ebony Doughboys or the Harlem Hellfighters. Ages 8 and up.
