This Columbus Day weekend, head to the Onassis Cultural Center NY for a fun-filled bash exploring Greek art and culture. In addition to the lectures, workshops and performances offered during Narcissus Now: The Myth Reimagined Festival, the center is hosting a special family celebration, inviting youngsters and parents to explore mythology through fun activities. Watch animated short, Moon Mirrors, build a Reflective City with help from Materials for the Arts and learn about the Greek origins of English words in The Greek Wordsmith workshop. Get crafty creating a Narcissus flower, comic strip and soundtrack, plus hear an interactive telling of the ancient myth. Registration is required for some events, see website for more details. All ages.
