Budding naturalists learn the ins and outs of gardening while playing games and turning those tiny thumbs green. During the four-day camp (Mon–Thur), children frolic to the well- manicured grounds while learning the basics of planting and nurturing a garden, plus identifying plants, creating arts and crafts projects and investigating the bugs and flowers that make Queens their home. Parents can also opt to send their kid on Fridays when the camp goes on field trips to nearby cultural hot spots like the Queens Zoo and New York Hall of Science. Ages 4–10.
