Are you a fan of Wes Anderson? If so, you should head over to Joseph Gross Gallery in Chelsea. The gallery will be hosting “Bad Dads,” a Wes Anderson tribute exhibition, featuring more than 70 artists, each of whom is contributing artworks inspired by characters and places from Wes Anderson’s films. Just about everyone and everything in Anderson’s cinematic universe is given a shout-out, from Margot in The Royal Tenenbaums to Zero, the lobby boy from The Grand Budapest Hotel. The show originated at the Spoke Art gallery in San Francisco several years ago, but this is its first time in New York. You better hurry, though: The show is only up from August 7–9, 2015.
