Time Out says

The Outsider Art Fair returns this year for its show concentrating on self-taught art, art brut and outsider art from around the world. Founded in New York in 1993, the show has become an annual can't-miss event. This year's Outsider Art Fair runs from February 29-March 3 at Metropolitan Pavilion with 63 international exhibitors. The artists represent 32 cities spanning eight countries; nine are showing work for the first time.

A few highlights include: A presentation of original gouache paintings for classic American circus posters; a lineup of contemporary artists from the Canadian Arctic; a survey of Balinese painters with works dating back to the 1930s; Indigenous art from Australia; and miniature landscape assemblages by a retired NYC firefighter. The fair will also showcase artworks by the Beat Generation poets, including William Burroughs, Gregory Corso, Diane di Prima, Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, and Joanne Kyger.
